CLASSIC CLEANING CHECKLIST

While a Classic Clean from Midas Maids will ensure your space is sparkling clean, it is treated as a maintenance level cleaning and typically requested by our recurring customers. For first time customers, we highly recommend an initial Deep Clean (please refer to our deep cleaning checklist).

    The list below applies to all Rooms including the Living & Bedrooms

  • Vacuum all floors & staircase
  • Dust windowsills, decorations and wall hangings
  • Dust furniture
  • Dust reachable ceiling fans and blinds
  • Remove cobwebs
  • Make beds (Sheets are changed if available)
  • Sweep out laundry/utility room
  • General cleaning
  • Wastebaskets emptied and relined; Place trash in outside receptacle

  • Clean exterior of refrigerator, stove, oven
  • Clean interior of microwave
  • Hand wipe exterior of small appliances
  • Dust and spot clean cabinet exteriors
  • Vacuum and mop floors

  • Clean and sanitize shower, tub and toilets
  • Clean and sanitize all counters, backsplashes and sink
  • Clean mirrors and fixtures
  • Vacuum and mop floors

For first time customers who decline an initial deep clean service, Midas Maids reserves the right to advise on required level of cleaning when we see your space, this is to ensure we can provide you with the best quality cleaning service.

DEEP CLEANING CHECKLIST

When a Deep Clean service is requested from Midas Maids, you will receive all items on the Classic Clean checklist plus extra attention paid to all items on the Classic and Deep Clean checklists:

  • Clean woodwork (baseboards, door frames, and windowsills)
  • Spot Clean Doors
  • Wipe cabinet exterior, light fixtures, door knobs
  • Clean interior windows
  • Clean interior sliding glass doors and/French doors
  • Clean Light Switch Plates

For individual services outside of the Basic or Deep Cleaning Checklist, refer to our Additional Services list (these services will incur additional costs).

MOVE-IN/OUT CHECKLIST

In addition to the Classic + Deep Clean + Additional Service, when you request a Move-In/Move-Out cleaning service from Midas Maids we clean:

  • Prior locations of appliances
  • Spot Clean Doors
  • Closets and shelves (dusted/hand wiped)
  • Sweep Patio/Balcony area, Wipe exterior sliding glass door
  • Sweep out garage if no trash present

What we do not clean/do

We would go the whole nine yards when it comes to making your space sparkling clean. There are however things outside of our scope

  • Move Heavy furniture (including beds, mattresses, chest drawers, etc.)
  • Under furniture/sofas (only what the vacuum can reach)
  • Dishes (dishes will be placed inside the dishwasher if it is empty, but we do not hand wash).
  • Wash Walls
  • Laundry or Fold/Hang any clothes (towels and bed sheets may be washed and placed in dryer)
  • We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. We use extension duster to reach higher items as much as possible
  • We do not remove books from bookshelves
  • Outside areas typically handled by window cleaning or power washing crews
  • For health reasons, we will not clean blood, feces, vomit or urine from neither humans nor animals
  • We cannot guarantee complete pet odor removal
  • Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave, we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely
